DRESS CODE

Shirts:   Solid Colored polo shirts or buttoned shirts with a collar may be worn in any color.  All shirts must be tucked inside belted trousers, shorts, or skirts.  Logos are acceptable providing they are no larger than 1 inch. Logos of another school is unacceptable.  Shirts may be long or short-sleeved, no sleeveless.  Polo shirts should have buttons and at least one button must be buttoned.

Pants:  Must be navy, black, or khaki (beige).  Pants must be worn with a belt.
(No all elastic, drawstring waists etc.)  Pants may not be denim material.  .

Shorts:  Must be navy, black, or khaki (beige) and knee-length.  Shorts must also be worn with a belt.  (No elastic, drawstring waists etc.)  Shorts may not be denim material.

Skorts:  Must be navy, black, or khaki (beige) and knee-length.  No denim material.

Jumpers and/ or Skirts:  Jumpers and skirts may be worn in navy, black, or khaki (beige).  Solid bicycle shorts may be worn under skirts or jumpers for modesty.

Sweater or Vests:  Cardigans may be worn over the uniform shirts.  These may be in any solid color.  Crew neck, V-neck sweaters or vests may be worn over polos or collared shirts.  No fleece vests or sweatshirts are to be worn in the classrooms.

Shoes:  No sandals, platform, backless, or excessively high heel shoes are permitted.  We recommend wearing athletic shoes. All shoes should be worn with socks.

Jackets:  Jackets will not be allowed to be worn inside the buildings during the school day unless deemed appropriate by administration.

Special Dress Days:  These are designated by administration and may include free dress days, theme dress days, and school spirit days, etc.

It is expected that all clothing will be clean, pressed, and in good repair.  Clothing that is too tight or too loose, otherwise ill fitting, or deemed inappropriate by the administration will not be allowed.  No sagging pants, no large chains or excessive jewelry will be allowed.  No piercing will be allowed except for girls’ earrings.  No kerchiefs are to be worn, or other head covering unless approved by administration.

IN MATTERS OF JUDGMENT, THE OPINION OF THE ADMINISTRATION WILL BE FINAL.
