FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL DOROTHY SEMANOVICH
Welcome to UC Academy Elementary School! It is my extreme honor to partner with you on your child’s behalf. I believe that genuine partnerships and collaboration foster healthy ownership of a rich school culture. I am blessed to have the opportunity to lead a school with uniquely gifted students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I know that God has great plans for us.
I have taught elementary, junior high, and adult learners during my 21 years in education. I have been blessed to work in Christian education for the past 18 years. I have spent the last nine years in school administration, three of these years as the principal of a K-8 school. My love for the Lord, education, and experience have allowed me to work in my calling and find my passion within it.
In this transitional season in elementary, the Lord has provided me the opportunity to serve the elementary community in new and fresh ways. It is my privilege to walk alongside each of you in this season. Let us partner together in the work that God has for us. Together we are Made to Flourish!
