At United Christian Academy, we believe academic excellence is worth pursuing—and worth celebrating. Our students are challenged to develop their God-given abilities, pursue their highest potential, and approach learning with diligence, integrity, and purpose.
From Honor Roll recognition to the distinction of Valedictorian and Salutatorian, UCA celebrates students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and commitment. Membership in the National Honor Society further recognizes students who exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
These honors represent more than academic accomplishments. They reflect the dedication, perseverance, and character our students develop as they prepare to make an impact in college, career, and beyond.
Honor Roll
Students who earn an academic 3.500 GPA or better are placed on the Honor Roll for the semester. Any student receiving the letter grade of F in any subject area will not be placed on the Honor Roll regardless of the GPA. The school uses actual GPAs (not rounded-up GPAs) when calculating honor roll qualifications. Grades for physical education and teacher/classroom aide classes will not be factored into consideration for honor roll status.
Graduating seniors who have earned honor roll status six (6) of their eight (8) high school semesters, one of which is their senior year, become a member of the UC Academy Honor Society. This honor is also noted on their transcript and they receive special recognition and an award at their graduation.

Valedictorian and Salutatorian
At United Christian Academy, we are proud to recognize our highest-achieving graduates through the honors of Valedictorian and Salutatorian. These distinctions celebrate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, perseverance, leadership, and a commitment to the values that define our college-preparatory program.
Our Valedictorian and Salutatorian exemplify the pillars of United Christian Academy by pursuing academic rigor, demonstrating strong character, serving their community, and preparing for success beyond high school. These students represent the excellence and dedication that inspire our entire school community.
The Valedictorian and Salutatorian will have the opportunity to address their graduating class during the commencement ceremony, reflecting on their high school journey and encouraging their fellow graduates as they begin the next chapter of their lives.

National Honor Society
Students in grades 10-12 have an opportunity to be inducted into UCA’s chapter of the National Honor Society. This distinguished society embraced four pillars that have been established for well over a century. These pillars are scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Students with the qualifying GPA may apply to be inducted into the NHS beginning in the tenth grade.
