Junior High
Junior High students (6-8) are given numerous opportunities to expand their knowledge and diversify their skill set within the realm of visual and performing arts. Students may participate in a variety of elective courses during the school day, including options such as band, choir, and drama.

Worship Team
Junior High Worship Team is offered as an elective class group for all three trimesters at UC Academy. The group leads worship weekly at our Junior High chapel services and also does small vocal ensemble performances throughout the year. Worship team is open to both vocalists and instrumentalists.
Drama
Drama, or Center Stage Theater, is an audition-only extracurricular group that is open to all Junior High Students. Drama allows students to work on speaking to a crowd, creating on the spot, and thinking outside the box. Center Stage Theater performs yearly for our Spring Musical and meets after school on Mondays and Thursdays for rehearsal. Auditions for Spring 2026 coming soon!
Band
Junior High band is offered as an elective class performing group for all three trimesters at UC Academy. Our Junior High Band explores music theory while developing performance skills, playing a variety of concert and jazz pieces. Students showcase their talents in two concerts each year-winter and spring.
