High School Arts
In the High School Visual and Performing Arts program, students will develop their unique set of skills at a higher level of learning. Our high school arts teachers provide engaging content to deepen students’ knowledge base about the given topic and offer countless hands-on opportunities to grow and strengthen their specific artistry. Whether it be creating a masterpiece on a canvas or owning the spotlight on stage, it is our goal to help students become proficient in their individual talents and set them up for artistic success in the future!
High School Choir is a mixed group open to all high school students.

This group will perform styles including madrigals, classical choral selections, sacred classics, contemporary formal choral, Contemporary Christian, jazz and a variety of Christmas selections. This group accompanies the Concert Choir on tour. Amplified has performed for the Assistance League Covina west valley fundraisers, Pomona Valley Hospital holiday home tours fundraisers, The Reign hockey team, Los Angeles Lakers at the Staple Center, Glenkirk Presbyterian Church, Pomona First Baptist Church, Abundant Living Family Church, and many other groups.
Worship teams are made up of student leaders and musicians. They select, rehearse, and perform music to lead the high school in worship during chapel. The team(s) include vocalists and combinations of keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, and various other instruments. Students are also responsible for managing the ambiance and technical aspects of the worship such as slides, videos, sound, and stage setup.
It is the goal of the drama department to produce a play/musical every year. These are extracurricular activities that our students enjoy after school. They are an excellent opportunity for our students to get the experience of being in a theatrical production!
